Emphasis on Applied Skills

Learn to use quantum computing to solve real business, healthcare and scientific problems, not build hardware.

No Prerequisites Required

Unlike most quantum computing programs, no advanced math or physics prerequisites are needed.

100% Online, Flexible Attendance

Designed for working professionals, evening Zoom course sessions are led by an internationally recognized quantum AI expert. Live attendance is encouraged, but sessions are recorded for on-demand flexibility.

Pathway to In-Demand Roles

Position yourself at the forefront of a field facing a critical talent shortage, with approximately three open positions for every one qualified candidate.¹

Bridge the Gap Between Quantum Technology and Practical Business Outcomes

Quantum computing today is what the internet was in the 1990s, and it’s still accelerating. What takes current supercomputers hundreds of years to process, a quantum computer can accomplish in seconds, making it a powerful tool for solving today’s most complex business challenges.

Merrimack College’s 36-credit master’s degree is one of the most accessible paths to becoming the quantum champion at your organization.

In nine live, 100 percent online courses, you will:

  • Build strong data foundations, master applied quantum systems and demonstrate knowledge through an integrated final project
  • Work on industry-relevant platforms: PennyLane, IBM Qiskit and Google Colab
  • Automatically earn two embedded certificates along the way in Data Science Foundations and Quantum Computing*

*Both are also available as standalone 12-credit graduate certificates for students with a working knowledge of Python.

Earn your master’s and prepare for the quantum era 100% online — or explore our graduate certificate for a head start in the field.

Begin Your Journey

Analysts estimate that there will be 840,000 new quantum computing jobs by 2035.² Stay competitive for roles in fields such as cybersecurity, data science, healthcare/life sciences/pharmaceuticals, finance and business operations/logistics.
