Students in the Master of Science in Accounting are required to take 32–40 credits, depending on their undergraduate background. On average, students can earn their degree in 16–24 months. This timeline may vary depending on how many credits are taken each semester.

M.S. in Accounting students have the option to complement their accounting coursework with concentrations in business analytics, forensic accounting, or taxation — and take such business analytics courses as Strategic Decision-Making Using Business Analytics and Data Visualization & Storytelling, forensic accounting classes as Accounting Ethics & Detecting Financial Crimes and AI & Cybersecurity for Business or taxation courses as Tax Research, Procedures and Ethics and Wealth Management.
