Optional Co-op Placement with Leading Companies
This 4 credit elective includes a career development course followed by paid, semester-long, Co-op with a local company. Your academic advisors at the Girard School of Business will work closely with you to identify a Co-op placement that aligns with your career goals and aspirations and will guide you through the hiring process. You will also have regular meetings with a faculty mentor who can provide additional perspective into your Co-op work.
Daytime placements with leading industry partners allow students to continue their coursework during the Co-op program.
The prerequisite Career Development Course will assist you not only with exploring careers and identifying appropriate co-op opportunities, but also with honing key skills such as resume writing, interviewing, networking, and maintaining an impactful social media presence.
