From day one, Merrimack assigns every student a personal success coach who advocates on their behalf, helps them understand the steps ahead, and ensures that they develop a comfort level with the online learning platform. Your personal success coach will help you in overcoming obstacles and provide answers to any questions you have along the way to your new degree. Additionally, Merrimack also provide students with Personal Academic Advising to help you find the courses right for you.
Some students feel a degree is a challenge they must take on by themselves. The reality is in addition to the support you receive from your personal success coach, family,and friends, Merrimack has provided many resources for you to utilize to help make your experience a successful one. Your faculty and classmates can also prove to be invaluable resources to help support your learning initiatives.

What Can You Expect from Your Personal Success Coach?
Our personal success coaches will mentor, counsel, and advise you as you navigate your bachelor degree completion program. Every student will work with their coach to create a Personal Education Plan (PEP) that identifies their goals for the program and then maps out how they can achieve their goals. Your PEP is revisited and revised as move through the program to ensure you achieve your goals. While your personal success coach works directly with you and serves as your guide on a variety of topics, they will also guide you towards resources that are available to you to help address some of these challenges.
Help You to Find Resources to Address:
To complement the services offered by your personal success coach, all students enrolled in the online Pathway Bachelor Degree Completion program have access to many of the services on campus such as the library, fitness center, athletic events, and campus ministry. Due to the recent pandemic, these services will be limited to online access to the following: McQuaid library, career services through the O’Brien Center, and the Hamel Health Center.
