Merrimack knows each student learns in their own way. Our program was designed to provide content and learning in multiple formats including mobile-friendly segments so students can engage in coursework when it is convenient for you.

Our courses are designed to be completed on your schedule. Each 8-week course includes recorded content and weekly assignments. Some courses offer live, synchronous sessions but they are not required.

What Can You Expect from Your Personal Success Coach?
Personal Education Plan
Our personal success coaches will offer mentorship and advice as you navigate the program.
Every student will work with a coach to create a Personal Education Plan (PEP) that identifies their goals for the program and then maps a path to achieve them. The PEP is revisited and revised as students move through the program to ensure goals are met.
Your personal success coach will work directly with you and serve as your guide through the program. Success coaches will also guide students toward available study, career, and student resources.

Learn at Your Pace
Our learning format helps break up your course segments into different presentation modalities that allow you to learn in an asynchronous format, which simply means that you can attend class when you want, and pick the best times for you to focus on education. Whether you are caring for a friend or relative, a working professional, or taking the kids to an after-school activity, you now have the ability to schedule your coursework in the morning, in the evening, or even on the weekend. Our classes also offer synchronous (live online) sessions as well, but they are not required. The Bachelor Degree Completion program puts you in control of how you plan your learning.
Work Directly with Faculty
As you progress through your classes, it is important to remember that our faculty is invested in helping you succeed. We encourage you to get to know your faculty and interact with them during office hours and many can also be contacted via email and phone. Merrimack faculty work with students often, and have helped students through various challenges. We encourage you to use them as an additional resource as you progress through your program.
Network with Classmates
Online learning presents you with a unique opportunity to engage with your classmates. As some online learners are working professionals, this program gives you a platform to interact with fellow students on best practices, or to simply network with each other. As you continue to build engagement with your classmates, you may even look to progress through the completion of your degree together. This valuable class interaction may even help to further enhance your overall Merrimack experience.
