Tuition Credit and Prior Learning Experience will be Considered
PRIOR COURSES
Your time is valuable, and you may have prior courses that you’ve worked hard to obtain. Some of all of those credits may be eligible to be applied as credits toward your degree. Students can transfer up to 90 credits from prior collegiate courses towards the Pathway degree. Merrimack College will work to provide a quick review of your proposed transfer credits to advise if they are eligible to be applied.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
You may also be eligible to apply your prior work experience towards your degree as well through a portfolio assessment. After working with your personal success coach to develop a portfolio for consideration, you will then connect with Merrimack Faculty and appropriate offices at the college for review of the student’s portfolio. Upon review, the amount of credit that can be applied will be determined.
TRANSFER CREDITS
Transfer credits accepted or portfolio assessment credits awarded will be applied towards your elective allocation unless the credits can specifically be applied toward a required class. Following the review of your transfer credits, you will work with your personal success coach to map out your degree based on your goals and objectives and any other class requirements needed.
