MS in Product Management
Product Management Program
Experiential Learning
Industry collaborators who were part of the development of this program insisted that students should be better prepared to join organizations with a specific level of understanding and experience. As one of the most important necessities for this program, experiential learning concepts developed for this curriculum ensure that students gain industry product management experience while learning new concepts.
Students participate in immediate application of program concepts as a paramount objective for our Product Management program, and Merrimack is committed to providing these valuable learning opportunities for our students. Many of the students that come into this program already have a strong knowledge base that has been driven by prior learning and the professional knowledge they have secured in their career. The true value of this program is tapping into the entrepreneurial spirit of our students behind these new experiential exercises and uncovering a drive to succeed in business strategy and innovation.

Product Management Experiential Learning Projects
The true value of an Experiential Learning project is to learn the concepts by actually putting them into practice. Examples of some of the projects covered in this Product Management program are noted below. Here you will see what types of skills you will be developing, and how the these concepts relate back to the industries they support. As students learn key concepts through this “hands-on” process, it will help better prepare our students for the challenges in the product industry.
