Leadership Studies Specialization

Students who specialize in Leadership Studies will explore theories of leadership; leadership styles; the making of a good leader; obstacles to leadership as well as the role of diversity (race, gender, ethnicity, ability) in leadership locally and globally; and the cultural and cross-cultural dimensions of leaders and leadership. This specialization provides an opportunity for those seeking to advance their careers into positions of leadership by providing the framework for studying what it means to be a leader and develop their own leadership styles.
