March 7, 2025

Designed to examine the various issues, policies and procedures involved with the administration of a health care facility, this course allows students to expand their cultural literacy through an exploration of varied theories and models of cultural competence through the lens of health care. Students examine and analyze through oral and written assignments the roles of cultural differences, including cultural attitudes, beliefs and expectations as they pertain to effective health care in diverse settings.
