This course focuses on health behavior theories and strategies to promote individuals’ healthy lifestyles. In addition, students explore and apply theoretically based principles and strategies to real-life cases. Emphasis is placed on improving students’ competency in understanding health behaviors in the modern world and the design of theory-based interventions to improve health behaviors. 3 credit hours are devoted to didactic lecture; 1 credit hour is devoted to activity-based experiential learning.
